Are you looking for a new and exciting business opportunity that can be run from home?

Your Flat-Pack Wizards is the newest and most exciting Flat-Pack assembly franchise on the market today. We provide all of the marketing materials and training you need to get your business up and running within a matter of days.

Our Flat-Pack assembly franchise opportunity allows you to build your own successful business. With our help, you can achieve your dreams of financial independence and personal success. Within a week you’ll have your own local Flat-Pack assembly business, with the freedom to run it how you want (within reason of course😉), supported by a national brand.

With Your Flat-Pack Wizards, you can finally achieve the work-life balance you’ve always wanted.

Are you tired of working long hours with no chance of ever achieving a perfect balance? If so, Your Flat-Pack Wizards might just be right for you. Your Flat-Pack Wizards is an opportunity for you to start your own Flat-Pack assembly business, exclusively in your local area.

You set your own hours, choose your own clients, and keep all of the profits from your business. This is a chance to be your own boss and make your dreams a reality.

If you have young children at home, you can work around their schedule. If you are taking care of an elderly relative, you can set your own hours to accommodate their needs. And if you simply want to work less and enjoy life more, Your Flat-Pack Wizards can help you achieve that goal too.

With the nature of the offering, it is also a very “clean” business too compared to plumbing, electrical and traditional carpentry options being wet, dusty and messy.  In addition to this, you will require no stock, no need for trade accounts and the time hassle of payment and payment terms.  You book the customer in, turn up and complete the job and get paid.

What services will I offer?

With a Your Flat-Pack Wizards franchise, you will have the total flexibility to offer whatever Flat-Pack assembly services you wish, but typically you will be assembling wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables, beds, desk units etc.

Do people really pay for Flat-Pack assembly?

In short, yes! There are people who, by there own admittance, just haven’t got a clue how things like that go together.  They would prefer to pay someone else to do it in half the time and not have the stress.  Some people just value their time so much that they would always prefer to pay for it to be done.  Others, who are either maybe slightly older, less mobile or have a disability, just can’t put things together – so this is where you come to the fore.

Often furniture is delivered by the company purchased from or someone has already got it there, so you are simply going there to assemble it.

You can of course offer a collection service if you choose to and have a suitable vehicle but it isn’t an absolute requirement to purchase the franchise.

If you are reading this, you will have at least some interest in running your own business.  It could be that you aren’t even sure what sector it will be in or you may have already decided it will be something within the Flat-Pack assembly industry.

Maybe it is setting up totally by yourself, buying an existing business, or purchasing a franchise/business opportunity; whichever it is, and without wanting to teach you to “suck eggs”, we have outlined some key points to consider when choosing, so you know you have the very best chance of success. The pandemic has taught us many things, and the current cost of living crisis is making these key elements to buying a business, even more important!  You want a business that ticks as many of these as possible, ideally all of them…!

FAQ’s

What equipment will I need?

To get started, you will only need some very basic equipment, not limited to, but comprising of at least the following: screwdrivers, electric drill, hammer, mallet, pliers, tape measure, allen keys and your own transport.  Our Your Flat-Pack Wizards package comes with an easy list of items to purchase or our Your Flat-Pack Wizards+ package provides you with all of these.

Do I need to take on staff?

This is entirely up to you and depends on your longer-term goals.  You can work by yourself and keep all the profit for yourself, or as your Your Flat-Pack Wizards business grows you can choose to take on more work and in turn staff to help you facilitate this.  Like anything, there are pros and cons to this, but Your Flat-Pack Wizards Head Office will fully support you on this.

Who’s this for?

Anyone who is prepared to work hard, and the beauty of it is that you work as much or as little as you like!  Whether you are a mum, or dad, doing both roles, a student, or a couple – this business will work for you.  There are so many diverse people we can’t possibly list them all.  Just to be clear this isn’t a get rich quick scheme where you will make a million in 6 weeks! Naturally, the ability and knowledge to assemble flat-pack furniture in the first place is a prerequisite.

What hours will I work?

Again, totally up to you.  There are franchisees who will want to work a full 8 hour day every day of the week, and still go out on an evening to provide out-of-hours Flat-Pack assembly services (charged at a premium) or for businesses that need things doing out of office hours.  Others look for total flexibility around child care for example and will be looking to work a few hours a day to work around school drop off and pick-ups.

What earning potential is there?

As mentioned above, it will depend on the number of hours you want to work and what fits around you and your home life.  This business really is your business and what makes us very different from many other franchises where you have targets to hit and are often penalised if you don’t hit them, is that you can work as much or as little as you choose.

Depending on which area you are based in will depend on how much you choose to charge.  Items are charged at a fixed price which gives the customer confidence that they know what they are paying with no nasty hidden surprises.

As a broad scope, there are some example prices and scenarious outlined below.

Example 1:

Morning: Assemble a double wardrobe (£60), chest of drawers (£45) and two bedside tables (£15 each). Total £135.00

Afternoon: Assemble a double wardrobe (£60). Total £60

Total for the day £195 and would have you finishing around 3 or 4pm depending on distance to and between the jobs.

Completing these types of days, 3 days a week would give you £585 plus another couple of individual smaller jobs would give you upwards of £700 per week/£2800 per month/48 weeks a year £31,000+.

Example 2 – typical hours to fit in with a school dropoff/pickup commitments, based on 09:30 – 14:30:

Assemble a double wardrobe (£60), chest of drawers (£45) and two bedside tables (£15 each). Total £135.00

Again depending on distance to the job, you will be finished well before the school run.

Completing these types of days, 3 days a week would give you £405 plus another couple of individual smaller jobs would give you upwards of £500 per week/£2000 per month/48 weeks a year £22,000+.

Do remember that the figures shown above are purely from the hours worked and don’t take into account the cost of fuel to get between houses, monthly franchise fee, and any other marketing costs you choose to engage in.

What is the monthly franchise fee and why is it charged?

The monthly franchise fee is just £99 per month and covers your website hosting, personalised email address, nationwide advertising on your behalf, your support team here at Head Office, marketing materials that are generated each month, and more to name but a few.

As you can see the fee is very small and is the only one you will pay to us moving forward, unlike many franchises that take a much larger fee each month plus a percentage of either sales or profit.  Typically this is 7-8% but can also go up to 20% which is a large amount and not something we want to do so we cap it at a sensible, fixed fee for you, so you know exactly where you are each month with finances.

How long does the franchise agreement last?

Your franchise agreement is for an initial 3 year period and at the end of this time, you can choose to renew for a further 3 years or resell your territory.

Do I need premises?

It is certainly not a must have requirement, but some franchisees will choose to do so, so they get out of the house “to go to work”, but a virtual business office address will more than suffice if you don’t want your home address listed anywhere.  Your Flat-Pack assembly equipment can be stored at home depending on what space you have available.

Do I need to purchase any insurances?

Yes, however, they are relatively low cost.  The first is Public Liability Insurance to cover the properties you go to, and the second is the vehicle you use, you will need to upgrade the insurance from your current Social, Domestic, and Pleasure, to Business Use.

You may also need to let your home insurance know that you will be having some tools stored at home too.

Can I share a franchise?

Absolutely! If you have a friend or family member who also wants to join you, then you can share the investment between you.  The only stipulation we ask for is a shareholder agreement between you both to set out roles and responsibilities from a financial perspective, day to day running of the business, and any potential sell/buy out from either party.  Your Flat-Pack Wizards Head Office can help assist with this.

What now?

If you’re interested in a home-based business with the potential for growth, we urge you to act now. Our Flat-Pack assembly franchise is available in areas across the UK, and we want to work with people who are excited about making a difference in their community by keeping homes and offices alike clean and tidy. Your local business could be up and running sooner than you think!

What’s stopping you? Choose your exclusive territory from the dropdown options above and take the first step on your journey to owning your own local Flat-Pack assembly business!

Franchise areas are priced at £1497 but for the first 100 territories sold, there is a £500 discount bringing it down to £997, or there is our Your Flat-Pack Wizards+ Package which gives you all of the equipment you need including hoover, bucket, mops, cloths, extension dusters and more.

Once purchased we will be in touch with you to introduce ourselves, and take some additional info to get your website up and running, and agree on a launch date.  The process of getting everything sorted for you takes around 7 working days, and your won’t pay your first monthly franchise fee for two months, to give you every chance of success and keep more money in your pocket in those all important early days.
